ART HK12 announces inaugural Private Museum Panel - Art Collector
|30 April 2012 l ART HK12 announced a Private Museum Panel to be part of the education program at this year’s fair. Held on Thursday 17 May, the salon style discussions about developments in the museum scene will be headed by owners and directors of major museums across Asia Pacific. |
The line up for the panel includes director of CAFA Gallery, Beijing, former director of Guangdong Museum of Art; Wang Huangsheng, senior advisor to the National Art Gallery, Singapore Kian, Chow Kwok, collector and owner of the Dragon Art Museum, Shanghai, due to open November 2012 Wang Wei and former Director of Tate Modern, London Lars Nittve.
Backroom Conversations will return this year featuring a keynote lecture from curator and contemporary art theorist Okwui Enwezor.
Enwezor is the current Director at the Haus der Kunst in Munich. The full program can be viewed online and events will be held throughout the duration of the fair.
ART HK12 is on between 17 to 21 May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Private Museum Panel talk will be held Thursday 17 May from 2.15 – 3.30pm
