Aida Tomescu joins Sullivan+Strumpf - Art Collector

Sullivan+Strumpf has announced the recent addition of artist Aida Tomescu to its stable.

With a career that spans over 35 years, with 30 solo shows to date, Tomescu's significant abstract vision has marked her as one of Australia’s most distinctive artists.

Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions both in Australia and internationally. She has been represented in major museums, regional galleries, and university and corporate collections across Australia and throughout the world, including National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery Of Victoria, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Heide Museum of Modern Art, and the British Museum, London.

Tomescu has also won prestigious awards and prizes including the 2003 Wynne Prize, the 2003 Dobell Prize for Drawing, the 1996 Sulman Prize, and the 1996 LFSA Arts 21 Fellowship.
