The first gallery exhibition in Australasia by renowned artist, Alfredo Jaar, introduces the regional audience to a compelling practice by way of works spanning decades. From an early 1981 work made in Chile, the last before fleeing the military junta for New York, where Jaar is still based, through important works that reference Africa made in the late 80's and mid 90's, to recent works speaking to the socio-political complexities of today's technology-saturated world, Jaar's coherent and uncompromising vision is revealed.
