Alison Kelly Gallery to close at the end of the year - Art Collector

22 November 2010 | Director Alison Kelly has announced she is closing Alison Kelly Gallery in order to explore new opportunities.

She is currently staging a clearance sale to move remaining stock before the gallery closes on 18 December 2010.

Alison Kelly Gallery, which has been in business for 10 years, specialised in Aboriginal art and had ties to art centres including Ernabella Arts, Maningrida and Tiwi Design.

“I would like to thank the many friends and clients who have supported the gallery and who have made the time so rewarding,” Kelly said. “It has been a privilege to have worked with wonderful artists, dedicated art centre staff and the many people who have been so important in the running of the gallery.”

It is the second Aboriginal art gallery to close in recent months, with
