Andrew Rogers: Come to the Edge - Art Collector

Andrew Rogers, Come to the Edge 1, 2015. Stainless steel, 125 x 104 x 84cm. Courtesy: the artist and Mossgreen Gallery, Armadale

Melbourne sculptor and installation artist, Andrew Rogers, is internationally renowned. His best known endeavour, Rhythms of Life, is the largest contemporary land art project in the world, forming a chain of 51 massive stone sculptures, or geoglyphs, around the globe.

Come to the Edge, introducing Roger’s new series of thirteen works, tests the boundaries of what is technically possible with the medium of stainless steel, assisted by computer-aided design software (CAD) and 3D modelling. The resultant geometry of the forms is complex, with the patterns giving a sense of dynamic motion.
