Ariel Hassan wins Veolia Primavera Prize - Art Collector

31 August 2010 | Adelaide-based artist Ariel Hassan has won the Museum of Contemporary Art – Primavera / VEOLIA Acquisitive Art Prize.

Hassan was selected for a five-panelled work titled
Waters are wiser than we, a phrase taken from a poem by Turkish writer Fazil Hüsnü Daglarca.

The prize is awarded annually to an artist exhibited in a past Primavera, the Museum of Contemporary Art’s annual showcase of emerging artists.
