Art Basel 2015 exhibitors announced - Art Collector

Art Basel has announced its exhibitor list for the third Hong Kong edition of the fair to take place in March 2015. Australian and New Zealand galleries attending include Auckland and Sydney’s Jensen Gallery, Melbourne and Sydney’s Anna Schwartz Gallery, Sydney’s Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery, Auckland’s Starkwhite, Sydney’s Sullivan + Strumpf, Auckland's Michael Lett, Melbourne’s Torlano Galleries and Melbourne’s Murray White Room.

Darren Knight in Sydney and Hopkinson Mossman in Auckland will participate in the fair’s Discoveries section, which showcases emerging artists from around the world with solo- and two-person exhibitions.

Melbourne’s Dianne Tanzer gallery + projects will be the only representing Australian or New Zealand or gallery at the Insights stands, which are dedicated to curatorial projects by 34 galleries. The Insights sector features solo shows, exceptional historical material and strong thematic group exhibitions across both levels of the centre.

Yet to be announced are the participants of the Encounters sector. Australian curator Alexie Glass-Kantor, executive director of Artspace in Sydney, will curate the sector for the first time this year. The sector shows artworks on an institutional scale, presenting large-scale sculptural and installation pieces sited in prominent locations throughout the two exhibition halls.
