Art Basel Hong Kong update - Art Collector

17 April 2013 | In the forthcoming first edition of Art Basel Hong Kong 245 galleries from around the world will take part, with ten Australian and New Zealand galleries participating. Jensen Gallery is the latest to join the list of participants who include Neon Parc, Roslyn Oxley9, Ryan Renshaw, Starkwhite, Sullivan & Strumpf, dianne tanzer gallery + projects, Tolarno, Utopian Slumps and Murray White Room.

Jensen Galley, which has premises in both Sydney and Auckland, has announced it will be presenting a focused selection of work from artists including Americans Fred Sandback & Winston Roeth; German painters Imi Knoebel & Gunter Umberg; Swiss painter Helmut Federle and Australasian artists Jude Rae, Tomislav Nikolic and Sam Harrison.

Art Collector will be hosting an
Art Basel Hong Kong collector’s tour. Led by art and travel writer Helen McKenzie, the tour will provide behind the scenes access to the art world. Highlights of the tour include lunch at the China Club with a tour of the club’s collection conducted by curator Johnson Chang and a private party at the home of Mandy d’Abo, director of Hong Kong’s Cat Street Gallery.
