Art Month gains an artistic director - Art Collector

14 November 2011 | Eliza Muldoon has been appointed artistic director of Art Month Sydney, which will be staged next March for the third time.

It is the first time the event has had an artistic director.

Muldoon is a lecturer at the College of Fine Arts and founding director of the Arts Interview website. She has also taught at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and is currently a PhD candidate.

Muldoon says she wants to build on the past two events by offering “a reinvigorated program”. As with previous years, the program is expected to will involve art talks, artist performances, open studios, gallery tours, workshops and panel discussions as well as after hours gallery openings and art bars.

Art Month Sydney will be held throughout March 2012 at various venues around Sydney.
