Asia Pacific Triennial announces artists - Art Collector

7 August 2012 | Daniel Boyd, Louise Bufardeci and Michael Cook are among the Australian artists selected for the next edition of the Asia Pacific Triennial in Queensland.

Timothy Cook, Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Susan Jacobs and Shirley McNamara will also be exhibiting, alongside Australian-Indonesian artist Tintin Wulia and New Zealanders Joanna Langford, Michael Parekowhai and Richard Maloy.

Highlights this year will be a focus on artists from West Asia - reaching as far as Egypt, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Syria and Jordan - as well as work by younger Indonesian and Vietnamese artists.

APT7 runs from 8 December 2012 to 14 April 2013 at the Gallery of Modern Art and Queensland Art Gallery in Brisbane.
