Australian & NZ video artists exhibit in Chile - Art Collector

18 December 2013 | Over 20 Australian and New Zealand artists working in film and video have been selected for a special group exhibition in Santiago, Chile which opened last week.

Video Arte Australia y Nueva Zelanda is curated by Mark Feary, curator of Artspace in Sydney. It is a reconfiguration of the Video Contemporary exhibition he curated for Sydney Contemporary earlier this year and is being shown in an expansive former government warehouse now occupied by Matucana 100, a non profit contemporary cultural organisation based in Santiago.

The exhibiting artists are Rebecca Agnew, Damiano Bertoli, Steve Carr, Heath Franco, Greatest Hits, Ash Keating, Andrew Liversidge, Kate Mitchell, Arlo Mountford, Nasim Nasr, Jess Olivieri & Hayley Forward, Baden Pailthorpe, Matthew Shannon, Mark Shorter, Soda_Jerk, Sriwhana Spong, Brie Trenerry, Ronnie van Hout, Clinton Watkins and Simon Zoric.

Their works will be presented in a series of programs within seven purpose built modular environments throughout the venue's central gallery.
