Australian artists announced for 13 Rooms project - Art Collector

4 December 2012 | Emerging Brisbane-based collaborative duo Nicole Beaumont and Sarah Clark, who work together under the name Clark Beaumont, have been selected as the Australian representatives in the upcoming 13 Rooms.

The project, presented by Kaldor Public Art Projects, brings together 13 international artists to present work in 13 rooms custom built for the exhibition on Pier 2/3 at Walsh Bay.

Clark Beaumont will present a perfomative artwork in one of these 13 rooms. Other exhibiting artists include Marina Abramović, Damien Hirst, John Balderssari, Laura Lima and Xu Zhen.

13 Rooms is curated by Klays Biesnbach, director of MoMA PS1 in New York, and Hans Ulrich Obrist, co-director of Serpentine Gallery in London.

It runs from 11 until 21 April 2013 at Pier 2/3 Walsh Bay, Sydney.
