Slowly Turning is an exhibition of sculptures that embody mathematical principles relating to dynamics and topology. The artist states that gravity makes it difficult to use softer mediums, which gives rise to a tension between the ethereal, fluid intention and the often-tedious manipulation of rigid metal. For Storch. the manual process has become part of the intention, leaving a tangible trace of the tensile forces at work.
