4 June 2012 | Bindi Cole’s commission for the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne is now on view in the hospital’s foyer. The works will be on display for one year.

For the commission Cole produced two large photographs, consulting with staff, patients and the Aboriginal Advisory Committee at the Women's to research the works.

Called
Seedtime and Harvest, the heavily symbolic works acknowledge and celebrate the hospital’s relationship with Aboriginal women, one in reference to the past and one to the present.

The commission has been in the works since 2008.
