Chloe Vallance wins emerging artist prize - Art Collector

8 June 2010 | Emerging Victorian artist Chloe Vallance has won the inaugural $5000 Pleysier Perkins Prize, staged by Melbourne's Flinders Lane Gallery and open to artists in the gallery's annual Exploration exhibition of emerging artists. Vallance won the prize for a series of oil and pencil works on plywood.

The judging panel for the inaugural award included painter Marise Maas alongside representatives of Pleysier Perkins Architects and Qualitas Property Partners.

The Exploration exhibition closes 12 August 2010.
