Chris Langlois wins Stan & Maureen Duke Prize - Australian Art Collector

19 December 2011 | Sydney-based painter Chris Langlois is the winner of the Stan and Maureen Duke Gold Coast Art Prize for 2011, a prize open to all media except photography.

Langlois, who was selected by judge Davida Allen, wins $10,000.

His work, Darkwood no. 19 2011, has also been acquired by the Gold Coast City Gallery Collection.

The 69 finalists remain on view at the Gold Coast City Gallery until 5 February 2012.
