Christopher Langton wins new $30,000 sculpture prize - Art Collector

27 November 2012 | Christopher Langton is the winner of the McClelland Achievement Prize, a new $30,000 award introduced this year as part of the McClelland Sculpture Survey & Award.

The non-acquisitive prize also includes a solo exhibition at the McClelland Gallery & Sculpture Park in Victoria.

Langton was selected for a work titled
Away with the fairies.

The main $100,000 prize was awarded to Greg Johns.

The finalists’ work remains on show at the McClelland Gallery & Sculpture Park in Victoria until 14 July 2013.
