Claire Bridge becomes cultural diplomat - Art Collector

14 November 2011 | Painter Claire Bridge has been appointed visual arts adviser on the cultural committee of the American Australian Association, a non-profit organisation promoting cultural exchange between Australia and the United States.

One of her responsibilities is being the visual arts contact for the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund.

She will also be hosting a panel event in New York on 20 November 2011. Running under the name Sunday Spotlight Series the first event will look at the topic: No man is an island – artists in New York responding to a global world.

Bridge has invited David Rankin, Maria Kozic, Natasha Johns‐Messenger and Simone LeAmon as the guest artists to speak on the panel.
