DAN ARPS: AFFIRMATION DUNGEON
Dan Arps: Affirmation Dungeon - Australian Art Collector
![]() | ||||
| 21 November 2011 | A major new book on Dan Arps is being launched in Auckland next month. | ||||
| Affirmation Dungeon surveys Arps’s recent work, looking particularly at the way the artist makes spaces – whether dystopic, uncomfortable, decrepit, paranoid or aspirational – that are in their own reality. The book also includes texts by Dan Arps, Jon Bywater, Matthew Hyland and Narelle Pathways. | ||||
| Affirmation Dungeon (340 pages, hardcover) has been published by Arps’s representing gallery Michael Lett with New Zealand publisher Clouds. The project is supported by Creative New Zealand and by Saatchi & Saatchi (through its association with The Walters Prize). The book launch will take place at the Snakepit in Auckland on 5 December 2011 at 6pm. | ||||
