Danny Lacy appointed new Westspace director - Art Collector

2 July 2012 | Danny Lacy has been appointed director of long-running Melbourne artist run Westspace. He replaces Phip Murray.

Lacy joins Westspace from the Shepparton Art Gallery where he was working as a curator for the past two and a half years. His exhibitions there have included the hugely successful
Sam Jinks: Body in Time, and The Drawing Wall with Ry Haskings and Richard Lewer among others.

He has also worked at the Monash University Museum of Art and Australian Centre for Contemporary Art.

“I’m thrilled to be coming home to Melbourne to lead the small and dedicated team at West Space through its next stage of growth and critical vibrancy,” he says.
