Di King wins 2011 Mortimore Prize - Art Collector

4 October 2011 | Di King has won the 2011 Mortimore Prize, an award recognising realism in art.

The Healesville painter was selected for a landscape work studying a rocky outcrop.

This year the judges were 2010 winner Peter Smeeth and Paul Delprat from the Julian Ashton Art School and.

Other past winners include Neil Taylor and Lucy Culliton.

The award exhibition continues at St Brigids Hall in Dubbo until 16 October 2011.
