The work of emerging Melbourne artist Eleanor Millard is recognised for its haunting imagery and subtle blended forms of rural Victoria. Her forthcoming exhibition Still End of the Day captures a remote fishing village on the shipwreck coast, with its rugged headlands, old-world characters and fishing boats gently drifting into frame. These ethereal landscapes are also fragments of the artist’s dreams and memories of a time long-past, inviting contemplation of another psychological dimension and an other-world.
