FIONA FOLEY WINS $20,000 REDLANDS ART PRIZE
Fiona Foley wins $20,000 Redlands Art Prize - Art Collector

Fiona Foley won the $20,000 main prize prize for a large-scale inkjet print titled Bearing Witness #1 while Eric Bridgeman won the $10,000 emerging artist prize for Black Beauty, also a photographic print work.
Wayne Tunnicliffe of the Art Gallery of New South Wales, who was one of the judges, praised Foley’s “outstanding exploration of identity, politics and place within the wider context of Australian art”.
The two winning works will be acquired for the Redlands permanent art collection.
The finalists exhibition, which has been curated by Lindy Lee, is currently on view at the Mosman Art Gallery in Sydney, closing 5 December 2010.
