Frank Schwere shows in New York - Art Collector

16 January 2012 | Work by New Zealand photographer Frank Schwere is featured in a group exhibition in New York at Schroeder Romero & Shredder gallery.

The exhibition features four large-scale C-print photographs from Schwere’s
Detroit series, which look at the current state of America’s once great motor city. He frames these images so that the environments appear both completely contained and seemingly endless.

The German-born photographer is currently based in Auckland. He worked with Bridget Webber to shoot Fiona Pardington for issue 58 of Australian Art Collector, October – December 2011.

The exhibition continues until 11 February 2012.
