Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award winners announced - Art Collector

30 October 2012 | The winner of the Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award's people's choice has been announced. Travis Paterson’s print You Don’t Belong Here (above) was voted the winner by visitors to the the award exhibition.

The award recognises Australian printmaking and print media from emerging and established artists.

The main $15,000 acquisitive prize was awarded to Lucas Ihlein and Ian Milliss for their series
Yeomans Project. The judging panel comprised Akky van Ogrtop, president of the Print Council of Australia; Dr Ric Spencer, curator of Fremantle Arts Centre, artist and writer; and Julie Gough; artist, writer and curator.

The Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award exhibition is open at the Centre until 8 November 2012.
