GW Bot: Glyphmetric - Art Collector

GW Bot, Rose Glyph - Evening, linocut on Magnami paper, 52 x 92cm, edition of 25. Courtesy: the artist and Beaver Galleries, Canberra

The work of GW Bot engages with the environment in both a topographical and metaphysical sense. Glyphmetric combines concepts and glyphs to form a lyrical language of the Australian landscape; intuitively mapping the space with the markings of personal experience. The artist creates images that reflect rhythm, music and dance while illustrating the pauses and silences of existence. In all variations of her work GW Bot combines a mastery of technique with an intuitive sensitivity.
