Gary Deirmendjian is a Sydney-based contemporary artist and sharp observer of the present, finding pockets of unsettling beauty through different media, including photographs, video work, installation and sculpture. His solo show 'a prevailing sense of disquiet' features the most comprehensive collection of his work to date and thus reveals the multifaceted nature of his practice.

Over his career, Deirmendjian has realised numerous commissions for private and public spaces, including in Denmark, Italy, Germany, and across Australia.
