Giles Alexander: Turtles All the Way Down - Art Collector

Giles Alexander, Landscape Painting 13, 2018. Oil and resin on aluminium, 180 x 170cm.

‘Turtles All the Way Down’ pays homage to the great physicist Steven Hawking. It pushes art beyond the beautiful to something far deeper and more important—continuing the grand history of the artist as scientific enquirer.

Giles Alexander’s work moves from the genres of hyperrealism to abstraction. His prodigious painting ability, coupled with strong curatorial acknowledgement has recently seen him join the stable of the prestigious Louis K Meisel Gallery in New York's Soho.
