Award-winning and internationally acclaimed artists Gillie and Marc Schattner launch their latest exhibition, titled Go Dogs Go in reference to the P.D. Eastman book Go, Dog. Go! The married couple, renowned for their dogmen characters, will also exhibit bronze sculptures. “Each figure features our signature dogman in travel mode,” says Marc. “We draw on the idea of having a go - it’s an Aussie expression; trying anything, loving every habitat. And it’s summed up in dogs.”

The work
Small Paparazzi Boy, 65 centimetres high, is a version of the eight-metre red enamel Paparazzi Boy, installed at the Ying Ren Hotel in Beijing. Other voyage-themed bronze sculptures include The Groom, a 55 centimetre-high dogman bust styled as worldly gentry, and the 65 centimetre-tall Hippo Rider, which continues Gillie and Marc’s African safari imagery from previous exhibitions.
