Graham Fransella: People and Places - Art Collector

Graham Fransella, Two figures, oil on linen, 38 x 38cm. Courtesy of the artist and Beaver Galleries.

Renowned artist Graham Fransella’s new works are the result of several decades of draughtsmanship and continued exploration into the theme of figure and landscape. His sophisticated, multilayered abstractions are arrived at intuitively, allowing any perceived meaning to emerge after the work is completed. Fransella’s work is represented in many public collections including the National Gallery of Australia. His work has been selected for the Archibald, Wynne, Sulman and Dobell Drawing Prizes at the Art Gallery of NSW, and he has won the Trustees Watercolour Prize several times.
