Group Exchange: 2nd Tamworth Textile Triennial - Art Collector

 This exhibition follows a rich cultural heritage in the promotion of textile practice and excellence in Australia. It celebrates a rich historical lineage that dates back to 1975.

The Tamworth Regional Gallery and Tamworth Regional Council have developed this key textile exhibition which continues to gain regional and national significance and is attracting international interest.
Twenty-two artists from around Australia have explored themes around collaboration, interdisciplinary relationships and the cross pollination of ideas.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts; its arts funding and advisory body.

This exhibition has been assisted by the Tamworth Regional Council, the NSW Government through Arts NSW and developed by Tamworth Regional Gallery.

About Glasshouse Regional Gallery
The Glasshouse Regional Gallery presents around 20 to 25 diverse exhibitions each year featuring contemporary, indigenous, historical, traditional, design and sculptural artworks as well as a number of prominent social history exhibitions. Exhibitions are programmed approximately two to three years in advance and target three distinct focus areas:

* Glasshouse Regional Gallery Exhibitions featuring the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Art Collection

* Community access exhibitions featuring local artists and cultural organisations; and

* Touring exhibitions presented in partnership with significant Australian arts and cultural organisations.
