Ken and Julia Yonetani’s Crystal Palace: The Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nuclear Nations is a challenging response to the Fukushima Nuclear reactor disaster in 2011. The installation comprises a series of opulent green uranium glass beads and antique chandelier frames that cast UV light. Each chandelier represents a country currently operating nuclear power stations. Crystal Palace emanates the haunting green glow of radiation.
