Group exhibition: Miss-REPRESENT - Art Collector

Hannah Bronte, Still I Rise – Boss Woman (still from video), 2016. Incinerator Art Space, Willoughby.

Contemporary Aboriginal artists Megan Cope, Hannah Bronte, Katie West, Lorna Munro, Merindah Donnelly and Tjanara Talbot set the record straight about misconceptions and misrepresentations of Aboriginality.

Unapologetically conveying their individual beliefs and journeys through digital media and costume design, these six artists employ humour, satire and hip-hop to confront preconceptions of identity. Strong, informed and connected, these young and creative women take pride in standing up and representing.

Miss-REPRESENT is part of the Guringai Festival 2016. Public programs can be viewed on the Incinerator Art Space website.
