Group exhibition: Nganana Kulilpai Nganampa Tjukurpa (We Listen to our Stories) - Art Collector

Rupert Jack, Maku, 2014. Synthetic polymer paint on canvas, 150 x 100cm; Nyinantu, 2014. Stoneware. Courtesy: the artist and Alcaston Gallery, Melbourne

Rupert Jack's vibrant colour palette and dynamic compositions along with Gordon Ingkatji's complex dotting technique and lightness of touch demonstrate paintings of great technical skill, showing how a lifetime of viewing country and the mind’s eye come together.

The ceramics by Derek Thompson, Pepai Carroll and Rupert Jack demonstrate their adoption of new ways of mark making, but also the pure love of clay. Working across different mediums, this exhibition reveals diverse interpretations of culture from senior and emerging Ernabella artists.
