Preserve (def.): to bottle, pickle, or similarly prepare for future use. Jar (def.): a rigid, cylindrical or slightly conical container, typically made of glass, ceramic, or plastic, with a wide mouth or opening that can be closed with a lid, screw cap, lug cap, cork stopper, roll-on cap, crimp-on cap or press-on cap. Rockhampton Art Gallery is taking the classic fete bottle stall to another level with our Summer Merilyn Luck Gallery exhibition, 'Preserved: Art in a Jar'.
