Watercolour drawing for its own sake has long been seen as a lesser form of Fine Art and during Colonial times in Australia, a predominately feminine preoccupation. Some of this prejudice has remained amongst sculptors until relatively recently.

This exhibition brings together the largely private watercolour drawings of five international women sculptors, with examples from their sculptural practice.
