The Women’s Show is Vivien Anderson Gallery’s annual exhibition of paintings and sculpture by leading and emerging gallery and invited Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women artists in celebration of their ever expanding contribution to Australian and international visual arts and culture. Held each year to coincide with International Women’s Day, the 2018 exhibition will be opened by actor and advocate Shareena Clanton, proud Wongatha, Yamatji, Noongar, Gija woman with paternal Etowah Cherokee/Blackfoot and African American heritage. Shareena will bring her enthusiastic, unapologetic and sensible voice to celebrate the opening of the 16th version of The Women’s Show.
