Beneath the Surface features work by three emerging artists currently studing photography at the Queensland College of Art, near Brisbane.

Lynette Letic’s work is part of an ongoing body of work about the daily life of her father who has acquired brain damage and how this is effecting his life.
Belinda Kochanowska explores the transition of the young female body to womanhood through evocative and poetic visual language, and Katelyn-Jane Dunn shares her story of young love and loss.

These three bodies of work, while very different, all deal with how we as humans change and adapt – and how there is always a story beneath the surface of what we see.
