Group exhibition: First Annual Desart Aboriginal Arts Worker Photography Prize - Art Collector

This exhibition showcases photographic prints from the first annual Desart Aboriginal Arts Worker Photography Prize in 2012. The inaugural prize featured works by Kumanara arts workers at various remote community art centres across Central Australia. The award aims to encourage photography by arts workers by giving them a unique opportunity to show their culture and everyday life to a wider audience in new and innovative ways.

Artist and overall prize winner Rhonda Unrupa Dick of Tjala Arts in South Australia will be present at the opening event, alongside Sharon Ken and Cara Kirkwood from Desart.
