Janet Mansfield's contribution to the field of ceramics cannot be underestimated. An outstanding artist, exhibitor, teacher, writer and publisher, she is attributed with having put Australian ceramics on the international stage. Her enthusiasm for the medium led her to teach, support and inspire many other ceramicists throughout her career.

A year after the artist lost her battle with cancer, Mossgreen Gallery is holding a tribute exhibition of important ceramics from a group of leading Australian ceramicists. This exhibition is curated by Prue Venables, who has selected 25 Australian ceramicists to exhibit artwork that demonstrates the influence of the late, great artist. Each piece is available for sale.

This exhibition will feature works by Andrea Barker, Stephen Benwell, Garry Bish, Steve Davies, Lynda Draper, Pippin Drysdale, Neville French, Helen Fuller, Patsy Hely, Titania Henderson, Fiona Hiscock, Neil Hoffman ,Amy Kennedy, Sandy Lockwood, Gail Nichols, Bruce Nuske, David Pottinger, David Ray, Susan Robey, Owen Rye, Jane Sawyer, Avital Sheffer, Vipoo Srivilasa, Kenji Uranishi and Prue Venables.
