Balgo artists are renowned for their vivid palettes that blend the old with the new and the abstract with traditional landscapes and country. In this exhibition Nora Wompi, with her family and friends, explore the stories, lives and history of the Kukatja language in the small community of Balgo Hills which lies in remote northeast Western Australia. Works will be showcased from Nora Wompi, Elizabeth Nyumi, Eubena Nampitjin, Helicopter, Nora Nganapa, Miriam Baadjo, Theresa Nowee and Brian Mudgedel.
