SOUTH is an exhibition featuring thirteen leading contemporary artists from Australia, Mexico and South Africa, which includes paintings, works on paper, installation, video and photo media.

While the artists' practices and cultural backgrounds are diverse, they are united in the shared response to their identity as artists living and working in the colonised and relatively remote Southern part of the world. The work presented is personal, political and socially engaged and reflects the changes in our globalised society.

The exhibition features artists Eric Bridgeman, Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Destiny Deacon and Virginia Fraser, Michael Goldberg, Newell Harry, Archie Moore, Joan Ross, Diego Ramirez, Betsabeé Romero, Hasan & Husain Essop and Zanele Muholi.
