Collections are often viewed as part of larger curatorial themes and rarely are single pieces seen in public spaces. Yet collectors provide the economic base for the development and sustainability of practising artists, ultimately creating a cultural environment and legacy.

Treasures is an exhibition celebrating the art of collecting photography. It traces the personal history of the objects that encase the artistic meaning given by their makers but also embrace the thoughts, dreams and experiences of their owners. Treasures will showcase a vast selection of historical, contemporary, emerging and established photographers from over 20 private collections, including Steve Reinstein's collection beautifully documented in his Los Angeles home by Jane O'Neal - click the below link for a full list of displayed artists and collections.
