Helen Wright wins works on paper prize - Art Collector

31 October 2011 | Helen Wright is the winner of the Hutchins Art Prize, an acquisitive prize run by the University of Tasmania to recognise works on paper.

Wright was selected for a relief print titled
The Exquisite Corpse of Seaweed Man. She also receives a $15,000 cash prize.

This year the judging panel included Kirsty Grant, a senior curator with the Naitonal Gallery of Victoria, Maria Zagala from the Art Gallery of South Australia and artists Raymond Arnold and Milan Milojevic.
