Hermann Hohaus: Revisited - Art Collector

  Sculptor Hermann Hohaus arrived in Melbourne from Germany in1954 and remained here until his death in 1990. Throughout the 36 years in his adopted country he was actively involved in sculpture, by teaching, making and exhibiting.

This exhibition showcases a comprehensive selection of Hohaus’ small scale bronzes in his distinctive figurative style. In complement to these intimate pieces, viewers will have the rare opportunity to experience a collection of Hohaus’ impressive large-scale works.
