- Utopian Slumps in Melbourne has taken on representation of installation artist Lauren Berkowitz. Berkowitz, who currently has work in the Museum of Contemporary Art exhibition In the balance: art for a changing world, is scheduled to have her first solo exhibition with Utopian Slumps in late 2011.
- Art adviser Anna Waldmann, former director of visual arts at the Australia Council, has been invited to participate in an international conference in Shanghai, to be staged as part of ShContemporary, 9 to 12 September 2010.
- Sydney's Michael Reid at Elizabeth Bay has announced its sponsorship of a team in this year's Scone Polo Spring Cup.
