| 5 September 2011 | New York-based installation artist Isidro Blasco has been commissioned to produce a laneway art project in Sydney as part of Art & About. Blasco, who shows regularly in Sydney, will install a work at the corner of Market Row and Mullins Street in the back alleys of the Sydney CBD. The work will act as a visual illusion, adding a fifth street to the intersection. Brook Andrew has also been selected for a commission. His work, Donut, will be a large inflatable object patterned with a black and white Wiradjuri-based design, which will be hung above Bridge Lane. The works will be installed from 23 September 2011 to 31 January 2012. | ||||
