This exhibition showcases recent works by Northern Beaches, Sydney artists Jeni Robertson and Candyss Crosby.

Robertson’s showcased works include paintings of umbrellas with reflections and lighting in the rain, full of colour and beauty and a mysterious atmospheric. Other works show her New Genre paintings which reflect an ongoing love affair with Australian landscapes as seen through the eyes of a child - stark and lonely with vibrant colours and inhabited by magical birds and animals.

Crosby is an artist with a deep affinity and respect for the landscape and our environment. This passion lends both intensity and emotion to her work which goes far beyond simple representation. Her connection with the land becomes an inward journey, where memory and creative process reshapes the external experience. This exhibition includes contemporary seascapes, abstract outbacks and evocative country scenes painted over the last five years.
