John Conomos: Paging Mr Hitchcock - Art Collector

Paging Mr Hitchcock is a performance video shot in a film studio, where the artist John Conomos addresses Alfred Hitchcock and the decisive impact his cinema had on him. The work also includes a montage of famous Hitchcock appearances in the auteur’s films over a period of four decades. A neon lit candy pink wall mounted profile of the director highlights the distinctive branding of Hitchcock as a popular culture icon.
