Jon Dwyer returns to Leonard Joel - Art Collector

5 September 2011 | Jon Dwyer has been appointed senior adviser to the art department at auction house Leonard Joel.

Dwyer will act as a consultant to the Leonard Joel team, and also continue to run his own art consulting & valuing business, Dwyer Fine Art.

The appointment sees Dwyer return to Leonard Joel, which he left 13 years ago to take up a post as head of Australian and international painting at the now-closed Australian branch of Christie’s.

He will work chiefly with Briar Williams, Leonard Joel’s head of art.

Leonard Joel proprietor John Albrecht comments: "Briar now wants to expand Leonard Joel's reach into the more valuable painting market and Jon Dwyer will be able to provide us with a unique skill set and pedigree to guide us in that direction.”
